First visit: Food is delicious! We had the caprese salad, lasagna di carne, lasagna rolls, and arancini. Everything tastes very fresh. I didn’t love the arancini but everything else was good. Prices are reasonable. Our inside 2-top table was too small for all of the items we ordered, was also very close to the other tables so servers kept brushing up against the back of my chair. Loved that they serve lemonade with fresh strawberries in it. That was a nice touch. This is one of our new fav spots in Pewaukee. We will be back.

Second visit: we had a table outside. Great view but the patio chairs are a little uncomfortable. We ordered bruschetta, lasagna di carne, a veggie pizza with sausage, tiramisu, and chocolate cake. Our server was just ok this time, she didn’t introduce herself or greet us.. just said “what can I get you?” This time my lemonade was served in a Stella beer glass which was weird to me (and no strawberries). Lasagna di carne was great- very flavorful. The bruschetta would have been better with fresh mozzarella or burrata instead of shaved parm, it was lacking a bit. My husband said his pizza was tasty but undercooked in the middle. Dessert was delicious. I love the tiramisu. Overall we still like this place and will be back in the future.

It was one of my top 3 favorite experiences at a restaurant ever. Tracy the server/ hostess was amazing. The owner stopped by to check on our experience and the food was the best Italian I have ever had. I will definitely go back. We had brushetta as an app and lasagna and chicken parmesan as our dinner. I would recommend both. It is a small restaurant with limited seating so make reservations but being small is what made the restaurants charm.

The meatballs are packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, and served with a savory sauce that complements their robust taste.

We had a girls night/birthday celebration with 8 people. We were very well taken care of by Mary and Llazar came over to check on us multiple times. The food was stellar, the wine choices were abundant, and the desserts were amazing. The flour less chocolate cake and lemoncello cake were unanimous favorites. It is a beautiful restaurant and you can tell Llazar has put his heart and soul into this place as well as The Beach House Bistro next door. I'm waiting for him to take over the whole strip so I can dine a different place every night of the week.

My boyfriend and I walked in one Friday night, no reservations. We were sat by an incredibly kind hostess- what detail!!! They are moving at an insanely fast pace but yet they maintain their kindness and composure. What professionalism and hospitality!! 10/10!

While I recommend a reservation, the service and the food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. We got the Caprese Insalate and the Carbonara Ravioli- WOW!!! We will be coming back with a reservation for sure.

It was an awesome night out and food was amazing. We started out with the Cacio E Pepe Dip, Lasagna Rolls and each ordered our own Pinsa's which were perfectly constructed and cooked. Lazar has another winning restaurant here and we will be back again soon.

Llazar has done it again. A fabulous location with a gorgeous view, delicious food, and attentive waitstaff. We enjoyed a perfect evening at La Tavola. A welcome addition to the Pewaukee lakefront!
