The food was excellent; very fresh and hot. The service was fabulous; quick, polite, and checked on is the appropriate amount of times. The restaurant was clean and the only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5, is because it is very simple and casual. I wanted to be sure people knew it wasn't an upscale dining interior (but it's cute and clean, we were pleased). Also, there were a lot of take out orders picked up while we were there. Clearly, it's a popular place.

We chose to dine here with another couple for the Thanksgiving holiday and we’re so pleased with our decision. The cuisine was fantastic, atmosphere on point with outstanding customer service from Bianca, and the rest of the staff. The head and sous chefs even stopped by our table and introduced themselves asking if there was anything else that was needed. I highly recommend all to enjoy an evening La Tavola.

Was my first time visiting this place and husband's second.
Honestly I didn't like this place at all, that only one thing I liked was the fried crusty bread and tomato sauce we requested, but overall food was terrible.

Spaghettis, no fresh spaghetti seems to be spaghetti from bag, not made from 0, and the pizza husband requested had a lot of tomato sauce which made that pizza dough was not eatable anymore.

That place has years there but something doesn't smell good, Can be the carpet, can be the ceiling or walls.

Only good thing was customer service.

If I lie my review is not gonna be helpful.

Even though they were short handed on NY eves. The waiter kept up with the tempo. The food was great, the wine was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I LOVED IT! Friendly great atmosphere. Very good service and very nice portions. Perfect for an inexpensive date not to mention it's very clean

The inside is super cute and our server was super nice and attentive. We got the combo sampler the chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks tasted and looked like frozen ones.
My husband got the ravioli. It was super skimpy and only have 7 or 8 small raviolis ( of they were big ones 8 would have been plenty. The Lasagna was great at first but halfway through it was cold in the middle.

I came here with 2 of my friends to give this little place a try. I'd heard a mixed bag of reviews claiming it was excellent, poor, and everything in between. It's these types of places you just have to see for yourself.
Upon entry, the hostess/server warned us that she was alone tonight. The dining room was full, so we appreciated the heads-up that she was overwhelmed. To sum up the service, she did a fantastic job. She got all of our orders spot on, was kind, and I can actually say that we probably got everything more quickly than some other fully staffed places.
In terms of atmosphere, it's cozy and a bit old school. Nothing to write home about, but they have a sweet patio for nicer weather.
The food is what was lacking for me. The highlight of the evening was the calamari, which I didn't even get a great picture of! It was crisp and the breading was delicious. The sauce paired well with it. I usually like to see lemons with calamari, but it could have just been overlooked with how busy the staff was.
I ordered the chicken piccata because I love everything lemon. Sadly, it was mostly butter and parmesan. The chicken was a bit overdone, so it was chewy. The dish wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It was just okay.
No one really talked about their food being fantastic, which will always come up with this crew if it is.
So really, the calamari and the server are the reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 3. It was really just okay for me. Nothing I'd avoid if someone wanted to go, but nothing I'd seek out on my own. It's a great addition for the area, though, and I dig what Smyrna has done with the little downtown area.
